Detained-immigrant defense · Westchester & the NY / PA metro
We represent people held at Orange County Jail in Goshen, Delaney Hall in Newark, Moshannon Valley in Pennsylvania, and county jails across New York and New Jersey — bond hearings, stays of removal, motions to reopen, and BIA appeals. We go where other attorneys won't.
The difference
ICE is now classifying many people who entered without inspection as “arriving” — and telling families there is no bond hearing. We tell you honestly whether a bond hearing is still possible and what can be raised before the immigration court. Most attorneys take the first “no.” We don't.
The law on detention and bond is changing month to month and differs between New York and states like New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We review where your family member is held and what is actually possible right now — no false promises, no guesswork.
What we handle
Flat-fee representation, with the realistic options and the price explained before you commit.
Where a bond hearing is available, we prepare and argue for release — gathering the equities, sponsors, and evidence that move a judge.
When ICE labels someone an “arriving” applicant to deny bond, we raise and preserve the challenge to that label before the immigration court.
When removal is imminent, we move quickly to seek a stay so the case can still be heard.
If a case was decided in absentia or circumstances have changed, we move to reopen it.
We brief and file appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals — deadlines are short, so the clock starts the day you call.
How it works
Where we appear
A primary ICE holding facility for the New York metro. New York detainees fall in the Second Circuit.
One of the largest detention centers in the Northeast. Pennsylvania detainees are in the Third Circuit — the options can differ from New York.
The two main ICE facilities for the NY/NJ metro — Delaney Hall in Newark is the largest on the East Coast. New Jersey detainees are in the Third Circuit, like Pennsylvania, so the options can differ from New York.
People are often moved between county facilities. Tell us where they are now and we'll track them.
Start here
A focused review of your family member's situation: we locate them, read the posture of the case, identify deadlines, and lay out the realistic flat-fee options. If you move forward with representation, this fee is credited toward your case.
Flat fees
Flat fees, told upfront — your $99 review credits toward the path you choose. Your exact fee is quoted after the review, once we know the facts. Payment plans available.
Government filing fees are separate and paid to the court — for example, a BIA appeal filing fee is currently $1,030 and a motion to reopen before the BIA is $895. We tell you these costs upfront so there are no surprises.
